The Hype: Rising out of the EU Underground come the Soundealers who debuted on King Street Sounds with a couple straight forward simple, almost nonexistent, mini-vocal in previous release I Know You Want Me EP. “I Know You Want Me” comes out the box already remixed by Langenberg, best known for his “Mild Pitch” sexy midtempo sound, and a simple head-sticking interpretation by Rey & Kjavik. This EP features their original mixes remix by upcoming Russian Producer Dima Studitsky. Dimas remix on Keep On has an orchestral yet atmospheric approach that gives an epic feel to the track. I Know You Want Me and Keep On original mixes provide nostalgic strings, synth chords and vocals that mesh together to create distinctive melancholic moods. Here you can feel a new wind of house music imported from Portugal.

Together they make quite a team and are bringing more of their quality productions stateside. A nice bonus flow is brought on by deep house producer Forteba, who also had releases on Plastic City & Tronic Sounds, recently did a cool remix of From P60 with Lisa Shaw “Magic.”

Club Abduction

July 12, 2012 in Doomwork, Street King

Title: Club Abduction
Artist: Doomwork
Release Date: July 9, 2012

Available now at Traxsource, Beatport, iTunes

The Hype: Attn: Deep House/ Tech House/ Ambient Groove lovers! With purely bareboned stripped down rhythmic goodness you can feel, remarkably-talented Italian production duo Doomwork finally drop their album, Club Abduction, on Street King. They already have growing list of supporters that include Pete Tong, Radio Slave, Loco Dice and Carl Cox, carving out a weighty reputation in just a few years with a Beatport tech-house number one (Cowabunga on Christian Smith‘s Tronic imprint) under their belt. “Stardust” and its remix by Dave Pezzner have already been released on a Street King teaser EP which gave only in minuscule taste of what’s to expected.  From the profound clarity of their amazing baselines, to the snaps of their percussion to the sexy, floor groovy tempos of their flat out deep 4/4 singles like those mentioned above or “Sunshine & Mosquitos,” to the dope chillout efforts of “Down Town”or “Plastic Town,” these guys get that simplicity is the key to an amazing production, and they certainly have the skills to prove it. This is a real artist album full of diverse sounds and styles – ALL playable in one form or another, at one venue or another, making them ones to listen to closely now and to watch even closer in the future.
