The Hype: Kruse & Nuernberg have been dropping several hot productions without missing a beat. It was no brainer that they were chosen for the fourth volume of our Street King series. We’ve already had the pleasure of having Alex Kenji, Stefano Noferini, and Aki Bergen grace the previous comps and Kruse & Nuernberg deliver a deeper element that perfectly fits the diversity of the series. The first track is a remix of Sunshine Jones (formerly of Dub Tribe Soundsystem) “I Got Your Back” sets your mind flying to several tripped-out destinations. Next up we have K&N’s remix of the spoken word joint “Flashback” which gives you a bit o’ DJ Roland Clark flavor with an extra punch. Benjamin Shock’s nasty disco funk-addled “Can You Feel Me” is followed by “Stealing Feeling,” a DJ favorite ’90′s House music throwback. The comp also contains tunes from Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, P’taah, and Tiger Stripes. The continuous mix contains 13 tracks, also available unmixed including 5 bonus selections. From deep, to pumpin’ to soulful, Kruse & Nuernberg skillfully hit the mark and deliver perfect dance floor moods.
